Genetic Alliance UK is the largest alliance of organisations supporting people with genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions in the UK. In addition to The Genetic Alliance UK, Rare Disease UK and SWAN UK, they also operate a number of stand-alone campaigns supported with digital & traditional media.
Genetic Alliance had reached a stage where their existing Umbraco website had maintenance & development costs that were astronomical. Expensive bills for simple changes were preventing them from embarking on new campaigns and reacting to the fast-moving requirements of their industry.
Our brief was to design a new and more modern user experience with Ecommerce, a fully featured CMS, an automated API integration to their CMS in Sales Force and 2-way feeds with their email marketing solution.
Consulting with their team allowed us to help define their digital strategy and to create a new, easy to use and highly adaptable site. We delivered this whilst achieving all their goals, reducing their costs, improving the administrator usability, and increasing their traffic.
